Paris, September 7th, 2015 – The Smart Countries Cities & Congress – S3C Paris, global event dedicated to the technologies of connected cities and territories, sponsored by Mr. Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development and Mrs. Axelle Lemaire, Secretary of Digital State responsible to the Minister for the Economy, Industry and Digital, enabled stakeholders intelligent territories and cities of the five continents to discuss the issues and discover the experiments underway in the city of tomorrow.
Key figures S3C PARIS 2015
S3C Paris welcomed 200 international senior government representatives (ministers, secretaries of state, governors) and 550 mayors and community decision makers who met at the Palais des Congrès de Paris 1, 2 and 3 September 2015.
65 countries from both hemispheres were well represented. These senior government officials were engaged in workshops to develop a joint statement.
250 lecturers, international experts in their field have joined forces to present at 70 conferences per day, for 3 days, the different facets of the city of tomorrow around subjects as diverse as economics and trade, open Gov, security, healthcare, telcos technologies, environment and COP21, intelligent buildings, smart energy management, connected home, smart transportation, education and future employment or the Internet of Things, innovations in cloud and mobile technologies and big data.
Along with the speakers, more than 150 experts presented solutions and innovations created by their companies. 17 startups and / or players in the French Tech presented as part of “S3C startup contest” innovations that enable territories and cities to better interact with their citizens, to safeguard their welfare and that of future generations.

Smart Countries & Cities Congress – S3C Paris – is a global event dedicated to the technologies of connected cities and territories and open to all stakeholders in these areas. Initiated in 2014 by the Sikiwis society as a regional conference, S3C Paris changed its format and location in 2015 and now has taken on an international dimension with the support of Smart-C European hub of reflection on Smart City and the Territories of Tomorrow Foundation dedicated to the development of technologies in cities and territories.
