“The Smart Countries & Cities Congress chose the city of Paris to host this showcase event on cities and territories for cultural, technological, industrial and environmental reasons,” said Paul Sitbon, co-organizer of Smart Cities & Countries Congress and CEO of Sikiwis.
France has a favorable ecosystem to support the development of connected cities and territories as the world leaders in the field of utilities, ground transportation services, energy water and waste management, etc., are based in Paris. French cities are known to be far ahead in the management of public services and offer an unparalleled field of experience feedback. In addition, French Tech startups are at the forefront of innovation in technologies for connected cities and territories.
Paris, through its history, its culture, and its influence, is a natural terrain for debate on these technologies. France, the country of Human Rights, is a center of self-reflection on the evolution of the city and a natural gathering place for a large number of countries, Francophonie partners, European relatives, and more generally all its cultural and economic friends.
Finally, SCC Congress will be an opportunity to examine how innovative technology for cities and territories can service the environment, upstream of the capital appointment of the climate conference COP 21 in Paris.
